The Trogdor League of Fantasy Baseball was founded in 2003 by Josh Evans, Scott Jungling, Warren Taylor, Nick Taylor, and Jay Taylor.
The rules are simple: play to win, and cheat if you can. Backstabbing, whining, crying, and pitching a fit about perceived slights in trades that don’t even involve you are all tactics that are to be employed as often as possible. And above all, never give up.
Never. Give. Up.
When it becomes apparent that you are completely out of the running before the All Star break, you don’t give up. When half your team is on the DL and the other half is on the schneid, you don’t give up. When your starting lineup is looking like 8 Neifies and a Bip, and your rotation is 5 days of Boof, you don’t give up. When it’s two games from the end of the season, and your starting lineup will have to produce a combined batting average of 1.002 to keep you from finishing 13th in a league of 12, you still don’t give up.
Why? Because Larry didn’t when it happened to him.
